The Suffolk Sheep Society is committed to growing a vibrant and engaging youth community, introducing NextGen – Succession for Suffolks! Anyone under 26 years old who have at least 2 registered pedigree Suffolk ewes, can apply to become a NextGen member of the Society. This event is open to members and non-members.
NextGen National Event 2024 – Saturday 7th – Sunday 8th September 2024 @ Limestone Farm, Co Down, N Ireland
The NextGen National Event 2024 will be hosted by Mark Priestley & family, Limestone Flock, Downpatrick, Co Down, Northern Ireland. With over 20 years’ experience of pedigree Suffolk sheep, winning top prices and top prizes at Shows & Sales as well as having a seat on our Council, Mark will be showing & sharing what he has learned with the NextGen of sheep enthusiasts!
To secure your place and help assess numbers for catering and logistics we require a £20 deposit & completed booking form information (below) by 15th July 2024. Travel grants of £50 are available to NextGen members (or family of Society members) travelling from Mainland GB*.

- Any non-member wishing to become a NextGen member must have submitted their membership application by 15th July 2024
- All travel and accommodation costs to be met by the attendees.
- It is the responsibility of each participant to get to the event.
- All under 18s must be accompanied by parent/guardian.
- Deposits are non-refundable unless event is cancelled by The Society.
