The Suffolk Sheep Society is aware of the two midge borne diseases that are affecting sheep farmers now. Specifically, Bluetongue virus and Schmallenberg and want to assure you all that we are raising the profile of the impact they are having on our network and hope to influence some action to help.
We have received advice from the Sheep Veterinary Society through Ian McDougal at Farmgene and thought it would be good to share with you on specifically BTV3. We realise that this differs around the devolved nations but please influence where you can.
