There were 2,414 quality Suffolk x shearling ewes on offer with a year on year improvement of quality and numbers forward, buyer’s came throughout the South of England, the Midlands and North and South Wales, Wayne Stephens of Holsworthy placed Rob Holmes of Dunchideock 1st and backed his judgment by buying them for a market top of the Suffolk crosses for £270 a head, Rob went on to sell a 100 head to average £224 overall 2,414 ewes averaged £194.75 a head up close to £50 head up in the year.

The Sale of Suffolk Rams followed the successful sale of ewes where it was noticeable that vendors who sold ewes earlier were looking to invest in quality Tups.
In the Stock Ram section, the Westcountry Suffolk Sheep Association had their Show and Sale. Leading the Ram section was the Derryman Family who topped at 1,150gns and went on to average 830gns for 4, Angus Howie followed on to top at 950gns and averaged 865gns for 2, in the lamb section Brandon Roth topped at 750gns with a smart Ram lamb.
