Harrison & Hetherington held their annual female sale at Carlisle on 8th November 2024. attracting a good show of both in lamb ewes & ewe lambs with a good trade throughout.

The pre sale show was judged by Pamela Lupton, Kexbeck Flock & she found her Champion in a ewe lamb from Myfyr Evans Rhaeadr flock by Carony Cha-Ching which later sold for 3500gns to Messrs. Lonsdale, County Durham. Reserve Champion was a gimmer from Tom & Charlie Boden Sportsmans, by Salopian Solid Gold & in lamb to Annakisha Champ selling for 2,200gns to Connell Farms Berwickshire.

Top price of the day went to Jimmy Douglas Cairness of 5000gns with a gimmer by Bridgeview Belvenie selling to Messrs.Moir Aberdeenshire, with three others from his pen making 1500gns.

Steve Buckley Sitlow had a strong pen of gimmers which sold well with two going to Mr. Lewis, Dyfed at 3000 &1800gns both by Sportsmans Black Label & in lamb to Jalex X Factor.

Ewe lambs were a good trade with John Gibb Cairnton selling his 3rd prize ewe lamb by Cairness Cooper out of a Knockem ewe to Messrs.Goldie at 1800gns & Mark Evans Jubilee selling ewes lambs to 1000gns twice.
