                                                                                                                               The Border Club sponsors the pre-sale show for Suffolk X ewe
                                                                                                                              lambs at Harrison & Hetherington’s autumn “Principal” Sale, St
                                                                                                                              Boswells, (22 pens of 50’s forward) where James Pate, Marvingston’s
                                                                                                                              winning pen of ex Scotch HB ewes sold to the judge, Mr Battersby
                                                                                                                              from Lincolnshire, for £135/ph, a figure matched by the second
                                                                                                                              placed pen from Nesbit, Wooler. As usual, Jimmy Elliot ensured that
                                                                                                                              Branton Eastside’s ex Mules were in great fettle, their two pens
                                                                                                                              placing first and second, selling to Mr Bown from Anglesey.
