The 2020 Border Club Member’s Show will be held in
Scottish Borders & conjunction with the Border Union Agricultural Society’s
Northumberland Annual Show at Kelso, Saturday 25th July; judged within Champion Female
the current MV Suffolk timetable. BUAS stewards will be
supported by Border Club committee to ensure accuracy M Nelson (Rosepark)

The Border Club sponsors the pre-sale show for Suffolk X ewe
lambs at Harrison & Hetherington’s autumn “Principal” Sale, St
Boswells, (22 pens of 50’s forward) where James Pate, Marvingston’s
winning pen of ex Scotch HB ewes sold to the judge, Mr Battersby
from Lincolnshire, for £135/ph, a figure matched by the second
placed pen from Nesbit, Wooler. As usual, Jimmy Elliot ensured that
Branton Eastside’s ex Mules were in great fettle, their two pens
placing first and second, selling to Mr Bown from Anglesey.
